May 6 EGR Recap

Today the Scots set out to take on the Pioneers and try to keep above .500 on the season with East Grand Rapids coming into town. On the hill making his first start of 2014 was Trent Foreman who has been very solid in relief all season long. Foreman went 4+ today and got only one run of support and so he will take the loss. The Scots bats went silent as they only had 2 runs all day. 9 runs were relinquished off the Scots, multiple unearned due to more errors. This may be the lowlight of the Scots season as they fall to 4-5 in the OK White and they need to kick it into gear to be able to achieve the lofty expectations they set for themselves preseason. They play tomorrow at home at 4:30 against East again with Sam Vanderwal on the hill. They aren't done yet so come out and support as they get things rolling once again.
