today, the Scots went to FHC to try and earn the sweep of the FHC Rangers and continue their undefeated ways. Everything looked promising as the offense propelled them to a 7-0 lead and through 3 innings, Caleb Sleeman gave up no hits. From there however, it was all downhill. A lack of hitting, fielding errors and pitchers missing the strike zone spun the Scots out of control and it cost them the W. Miko Rodriguez hit a 3 run home run and the Scots bullpen could not hold the lead. The Scots fell 10-9 and drop to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the OK White. They are back at home with Grandville tomorrow.
Thoughts
1-Sorry Sleeman, you pitched a crazy first three and it's a shame that we couldn't get the W off of that start. Keep dealing homie, you've been lights out all year
2-Rob Gontjes and Matt Kikkert are gonna have a crazy sunflower seed battle throughout the year, they are definately the go to this year for our seeds.
3-One final blog shoutout to Trey Roelofs for being there today. Miss ya big fella.
4-We will get on track and fix the little things and be just fine.
